The Trick That Tells a Tale.
What if your magic came with a backstory?
Scribble Snap is a playful, heart-warming twist on classic card magic, wrapped in nostalgia and delivered with charm.
You tell your audience a true(ish) tale:
As a kid, you were so obsessed with magic, you decided to make your own deck of cards.
Not printed.
Not polished.
Just hand-drawn, every card a unique scribble of childhood creativity.
You spread the deck.
It’s a mess of mismatched backs and quirky doodles.
A spectator stops you at two cards, totally fair, no sleights, no sneaky moves.
Against all odds, they’ve found the perfect pair: matching faces and matching backs.
A miracle…
…especially when you reveal that every other card has a totally different back design.
But then, the kicker.
You sheepishly confess: as a kid, you got a little lazy… and never finished the deck.
You turn the rest over and BOOM every single card is completely blank.
Scribble Snap is:
🎨 A storytelling piece that engages hearts as much as minds
🤯 Multiple moments of magic packed into one compact routine
🙌 Self-working, examinable, and resets in seconds
🪄 Perfect for performers of all levels — beginner to pro
This isn’t just a trick. It’s a memory made real.
It’s Scribble Snap, and it’s pure magic, scribbles and all.

I’ve been doing this effect for many years, and I have various versions but now this is my favourite go to version!
Absolutely stunning and give us a real wow moment at the final reveal
I love these cards! Allows so many story lines of who made the cards: kids, grandkids, your first deck of cards, etc.
I've performed this routine with regular cards, but then you end up with just another "one-trick-deck." These cards give you the excuse to bring out a different set of cards with a cute, fast, killer ending.
Vinny sent this to me to try out. Upon opening the box, the quality of the cards is great, and the "kid designs" are whimsy and intriguing. This is basically self-working. I have now performed it at least 20 times for various audiences, and the amount of PUNCH I get for so little work is really, really good. On top of that, it is very inexpensive.
