Colourquin: A Colourful Twist on Tony Corinda's Classic
 
If you're a fan of card magic and mentalism, you're probably familiar with Tony Corinda's legendary effect, 'Pentaquin'.
 
It's a mind-bending routine that has captivated audiences for decades.
 
We have introduced a unique variation that adds an extra layer of intrigue to this classic routine by incorporating different coloured cards.
 
Ten cards are used for this effect. Five are shown face up with different values and five are shown face down with different coloured backs. 
 
The spectator is given a face down red card and asked if they can identify the same card from the face up row. 
 
They have a one in five chance of finding a match.
 
The spectator is then given the other four face down cards and asked to lay them on the face up cards. 
 
When they are turned over, not only do the faces match, but so do the differnt coloured backs!
 
In Colourquin, we maintain the fundamental structure of the effect, but we replace standard backed cards with an arrary of different coloured cards. The result is a visually captivating experience that adds a new dimension to the classic routine.
